Quick Activity Check

How many activities does your child currently have?

Get a quick read on your family’s schedule load.

Select the number of activities:
Great balance. One activity is ideal for younger children and families focused on depth over breadth. Use the tracker to make sure the investment of time, cost, and energy feels proportionate.
Within the recommended range. Most experts suggest 1–3 activities. With two, the key is making sure both activities produce positive energy signals — not just filling calendar slots.
At the upper end of recommended. Three activities is manageable for some children and ages — but watch for signs of fatigue, lost enthusiasm, or a schedule that crowds out free time and family connection.
This may be too many. Four or more activities puts most families into overscheduling territory — especially if any of them involve travel teams or intensive practice schedules. It’s worth a close look at which ones are truly worth keeping.
How families like yours compare

Across families managing kids’ activities, the average is 2–3 activities per child. Families with 3 or more activities are most likely to discover unexpected costs or schedule strain when they track it properly. Most are surprised by what the numbers show when they add it all up.

What’s Inside

4 tabs. Everything your family needs.

Most trackers stop at a basic list. This template goes further — with automatic calculations and a guided reflection page.

Tab 1

Activity Tracker

Log every activity with child name, day, weekly hours, travel time, season cost, enjoyment rating (1–5), energy after, and notes. Color-coded enjoyment scale auto-applies.

Tab 2

Weekly Summary

Auto-calculates total activity hours, travel hours, and true weekly time commitment per child. See the real picture of your family’s weekly schedule at a glance.

Tab 3

Cost Summary

Calculates estimated annual cost per activity and total annual spend across all children. Many families are surprised when they see the full number in one place.

Tab 4

Reflection Page

12 guided questions across enjoyment, cost, schedule balance, and next steps. The part most trackers don’t include — and the most valuable for making real decisions.

The ACTIQO Framework

The four things that actually matter

Every column in the tracker maps to one of these four pillars — the same pillars ACTIQO uses to help families make better decisions.

Time

Weekly investment

Weekly hours per activity plus drive time. The true time investment is almost always higher than families realise.

Cost

True annual cost

Fees, equipment, uniforms, travel. Calculated annually so the real financial commitment is visible in one number.

Energy

Signal after sessions

How your child feels after each session — energized, neutral, or drained. The most honest signal of whether an activity fits.

Enjoyment

Week-by-week rating

A simple 1–5 score tracked week by week. Patterns in enjoyment over time are far more reliable than a single conversation.
