Cozi is the strongest app around for organizing a whole household in one place. It combines a shared, color-coded family calendar with grocery and to-do lists, recipes, and meal planning — the everyday logistics of family life, not just activities.
That breadth is its strength, and it’s genuinely good at it. Everyone gets their own color on a shared calendar, lists sync in real time so the person at the store sees what was added at home, and meal planning ties into the grocery list. If what you want is one app that holds the calendar, the shopping, and the meals together, Cozi is the category leader — and no app on this page, ours included, does that combination better.
It also runs on iOS, Android, and the web, so every phone in the family can be on it. ACTIQO cannot say that. We are iOS and web only.
Two limits are worth knowing. The free version limits calendar entry to the next 30 days and shows ads (both per Cozi’s own FAQ); Cozi Gold ($39/year) removes that limit and adds a mobile month view, calendar search, up to three reminders per event, and an ad-free experience, while Cozi Max ($79/year) layers on AI features. And Cozi organizes and schedules but doesn’t coordinate the execution around an activity — leave times, per-event handoffs, who’s responsible tonight — nor does it help you evaluate whether an activity still earns its cost and time.

Read the “calendar, lists & meals” column first, because that’s Cozi’s actual job. Only FamilyWall matches it. The calendars do less by design, and ACTIQO does none of it — we have no meal planner, no grocery list, no recipe box. ACTIQO earns the last two columns instead, and it’s also the only row here limited to iOS and web.
